Abstract

Adhesive capsulitis is a rare pathology due to its poorly defined and controversial etiology. The diagnosis of adhesive capsulitis begins with a clinical evaluation, assessing the existence of impairment of joint mobility, observing the quality and consistency of the shoulder movements of internal rotation, external rotation, and abduction of the shoulders. The analysis by imaging tests is necessary to confirm the diagnostic suspicion. Intervention with a multidisciplinary team is the most appropriate approach for these patients.
